  • Pathways to Career Success – collaborated with PUSD to reimagine a traditional college fair, setting a context for students by presenting 21st-century skills and young professionals speaking on their path to success in their field from various careers identified as needed in our region. Students speak to those representatives as well as college representatives with a more focused sense of what to ask.

  • Pomona’s Promise Early Childhood Committee (PPECC) – organized two Community Summits on Early Childhood Well-Being in 2019, sponsored by Pomona’s Promise as a whole.  In 2020, we collaborated with Pomona Rotary to plan Pomona Play Day, to model educational activities parents could do with their preschool-age children at home at little or no expense.  When this event was postponed due to the COVID pandemic, the committee created a list of online resources for preschool parents that mirrored activities planned for the event.
