The Community Engagement Board incubates reciprocal community partnerships.
Regular attendees of monthly meetings include representatives from: American Red Cross, Cal Poly Pomona, Charisma Life Church, City of Pomona, Day One, Fairplex, Foothill Family Services, Compassionate Cities, GAIN Job Services, Harvey Mudd College, House of Ruth, Inland Empire United Way, Lion’s Club, NCADD, Pomona Community Foundation, Pomona Health Promoters, Pomona Historical Society, Pomona Hope, Pomona Police Department, PUSD, Project Sister, Prototypes, Purpose Church, Southern California Service Corps, Tri-City Mental Health Services, Sustain Our Pomona Public Library, University of La Verne, USA Fit Force Taekwondo, Volunteers of America, Western University of Health Sciences, and representatives from the offices of: Senator Connie Leyva, Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez, and Supervisor Hilda Solis.
Regular monthly meetings are held at Ganesha Park Community Center where representatives from a wide range of agencies meet, share announcements, and hear a featured presentation about a community issue or resource.
Get involved: The Community Engagement Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 3:30 at the Ganesha Community Center, 1575 N. White Ave in Pomona.
